The residency programme

Curatorial follow-up

Each project is accompanied through individual and group meetings with our team curator, with technical and logistic support throughout the residency.

Thematic workshops

Two workshops a month are open to the community, and resident artists take part with a 50% discount. Once a month, residents join the embroiderers of Arraiolos in a free session at the museum.

Study visits

Walks or excursions to the natural and historical heritage of the region.

Engagement with the community

Resident artists are encouraged to share their knowledge and creative processes with local schoolchildren and neighbours.

Each residency period concludes with an open studio and a professional photo session.
