A Raia is the name for the border between Spain and Portugal, one of the oldest borders in Europe, with some limits dating back to the County of Portugal and the Kingdom of León. More broadly, the Raia is also the geographical area on both sides of the political border where communities share historical, linguistic, cultural and economic ties.
An artist residency project organised by Córtex Frontal and Galeria Plato, in partnership with MACE (Elvas) and as part of FARRA, presented at Forte da Graça.
