In prehistory, our ancestors used stone as an essential hunting tool, sharpening it into knives and spears to ensure a successful catch. Each stone carries not only the history of its formation but also the marks of the forces that shaped it.
The skill of carving and handling stone reveals an unexpected subtlety, in a clear contrast between the rigidity of the material and the lightness it expresses. The ancestral role of stone, the hunter’s ally, is the starting point of the exhibition, casting the first stone for a dialogue and reflection on weight and gravity, lightness and balance.
